About the Author:

Gwendolyn Rose Forrest is a poet and author of three self-help poetry books. Her previous books are Dreams, Deeds, and Destiny, and Everyday Ethics and Equity. She possesses a BA in sociology/psychology and an MA in public administration. Throughout her career as a writer, civil rights advocate, administrator, and certified fund-raising executive, she has worked in seven major metropolitan areas: Detroit, Michigan; Atlanta, Georgia; Portland, Oregon; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; San Diego, California; and Fort Worth, Texas. Retired, the author currently resides in Detroit and enjoys writing, line dancing, and yoga.
