The Fiedler's had the first flavor of the Dragons' Den experience in March 2013. Our pitch was aired on 22 January 2014 (almost a year after presenting our investment idea to the Dragons).What motivated us to return for an audition in February 2014? As second chance pitchers, did we stand a better chance to get a deal?How did we compare our two pitch experiences? With two new Dragons joining Season IX, how did we apply our former Den experience to our second chance?Having gone through two once-in-a-lifetime experiences, how would we pitch our idea differently and what tips can we share with the entrepreneurs who are anxious to give it a try?It's my intention to cover our experiences in detail though I must emphasize that they may not cover everything our readers would like to know. It will help to give them a heads up about what to expect, especially when they receive an invitation to pitch in front of the Dragons. This book will be a useful guide to help them to stay calm throughout the whole experience and feel as though they have accomplished something, regardless of the outcome.

Beth Fiedler is a dynamic lady with extensive life experience in both Eastern and Western environments. She has lived and worked in three international cities (Beijing, Hong Kong and Toronto) and travelled extensively across 15+ countries (over 100 cities). She's the author and self-publisher of three books, including her first two books "My Roller Coaster Ride" on capital protection and "Why A Better BE". As a consultant, speaker, trainer and author, she has been offering consulting and coaching services to learners and learning organizations about operation effectiveness, marketing, social media presence and professional growth. Beth loves travelling. When she is not travelling, she enjoys nature walks, reading, and riding a tandem bike with her husband Nelson.
