Crossin's book, Moving into the Ecumenical Future, but also to gather with other Christians, to learn, pray, grow spiritually, and listen to the Holy Spirit. Fr. John strongly recommends the latter, and to discern how best to move forward to make Fr. John's dream of Christian unity, a reality. No doubt this is a huge, daunting task, but great and often difficult events happen when a community listens to and cooperates with the wisdom and grace of the Holy Spirit! Author Biography

Loyes Spayd is the author of four books on ministry, including The Effective DRE and I Was a Stranger and You Took Me In: A Guide for Ministering to Returning Catholics. She served as Director of Religious Education at three parishes in the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia, and was a diocesan catechist. A graduate of Brown University, Loyes earned a master's in religious education from the Catholic University of America. She has three daughters and eight grandchildren.
