Author Biography

Paul and Linda Bucknell, were both raised north of Boston. Their overseas church planting ministry experience was highlighted by the birth of their second daughter in 1985. Later while pastoring in Pittsburgh, PA in the 90's, six more children were added to the family, for a total of eight (3 boys and 5 girls)! Over many years of parenting and homeschooling (still in progress after 25 years!), they have learned much about biblical parenting. Paul says, "God gave me a lot of children because He knew I needed a lot of practice!" After pastoring for ten years, Paul founded Biblical Foundations for Freedom a web-based training ministry (www.foundationsforfreedom.net). He has written more than twelve books. Paul travels internationally to train Christian leaders on various topics such as spiritual growth, marriage, and parenting. Paul and his wife of 33 years, Linda, still reside in Pittsburgh, PA, and now have two grandchildren.
