For the past twenty-three years, I have been writing on the new problems that keep coming up in our present age and their solution. Most of these thoughts have been published in the monthly Al Balagh. Fifteen years back a collection of these articles running over 750 pages was published under the title, *Asr e Hazir Mein Islam Kaise Nafiz Ho* (How May Islam Be Implemented in the Present Times).Later, I had occasion to write on other aspects of the same topic and my friends desired that these should also be included in the same book but as this would make it too cumbersome to benefit by, I decided to publish them in a separate volume. Besides, as the articles dealt with different subjects, such as politics, law, education, personal reconstruction, etc., a reader interested only in one of them would have to purchase the larger edition.Accordingly, I have prepared separate volumes for different subjects. They are: Implementation of Shariah and Connected Problems; Islam and Present Day Politics; Islam and Modernism; Our Educational System; The Individual's Reconstruction; A Life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ; Social Reconstruction; Our Socio-Economic Order; Muslims and Qadianiet.Of these nine collections, the present one is *Our Socio-Economic Order*. I pray Allah that it may prove useful for Muslims everywhere, and for this humble servant a source of salvation in the Hereafter!
