What if Life, Liberty, and Happiness

are not goals to achieve,

but truths to realize?

In this concise and thought-provoking work, Leonard Perlmutter (Ram Lev) reveals that the most cherished ideals of the American Declaration of Independence are not merely political principles, but expressions of a deeper spiritual reality.

Drawing from the timeless wisdom of Yoga Science, he shows that the human longing for Life, Liberty, and Happiness reflects our Essential Nature-Sat, Chit, and Ananda.

Through clear reasoning and practical insight, this book guides the reader from outward seeking to inward understanding, offering a direct path to clarity, freedom, and lasting fulfillment.

What we seek is not outside us.

It is what we are.

About the Author

Leonard Perlmutter (Ram Lev) is the founder and director of The American Meditation Institute and the originator of the AMI Meditation(R) curriculum. A peer-reviewed clinical study found that AMI Meditation(R) reduces burnout and secondary traumatic stress while increasing compassion satisfaction among healthcare providers-even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For more than five decades, Leonard has practiced and taught Yoga Science and the Bhagavad Gita, guiding students in the practical realization of health, clarity, and inner freedom.

In 2020, Leonard originated National Conscience Month, a public observance dedicated each January to encouraging the use of conscience in personal and civic life.
