We all have a whole bunch of different experiences that happen in our lives but it's what we learn and do with them that will determine the type of life we will enjoy.There is only a range of experiences we go through in life, successes, failures, get things, lose things, good relationships, bad relationships, career choices, life and ultimately death...that what life's all about.I'm going to share in this my Life Story lessons I learned both in my personal and business life and it is my hope that the reader will benefit and learn from my experiences, successes and failures on how to live an extraordinary life.In reading my life story I hope it stimulates you to reflect upon your own life, your business and personal experiences and that you share it with others that are important to you. It is my hope that it also stimulates you to write your own life story.Whether you are young and entrepreneurial and have not yet had a long career or whether you are older and had a more traditional career or whether you are in the process of changing careers there are lessons here for everyone. If you think you had an extraordinary or even an average life and that's fine there are still lessons and experiences you can share. I am now approaching my mid eighty's and never really retired. It's not in my makeup to ever retire as I do not know what I would do if I could not continue my learning and be involved in fun projects. I would get very bored quickly. It's not that that I don't have other interests to keep me busy. We live on a beautiful hobby farm with my two horses, dog and cat so my life is full.To be able to always do something to keep my mind active is most important to me. You probably heard the saying "a body in motion tends to stay in motion" for me a "mind in motion also tends to stay in motion". To continually learn and do new and challenging projects is what my life has been all about. I hope some of the lessons I learned will help you in your personal and business life.One of the things I truly believe and learned in my lifetime is that everyone is a sales person in one way or another and that we were all born with some sales skills, it's what we do to improve them is what makes us more successful. It might sound like a cliché but there is not anything you do that you are not dealing with people and selling them ideas, physical products and or services both in your business and personal life.This book is for everyone, what you take out of it will be different than what someone else will. There are life and business lessons here for everyone and I would encourage you to approach this book with the same kind of open mind that I approached things in my entire life. Believe me if I would have thought at the start of my career that things would always be the same as they were that's 60 years ago I'd be in pretty bad shape. I probably would have chosen a traditional career doing the same things for 40 years. There are many people like that that strive for an ordinary life and there is nothing wrong with that and there are others who strive for adventure and challenges.I never wanted an ordinary life and if you want to live an extraordinary life than this book will have meaning for you.In today's world there is no longer job security and you must continue learning new skills as you probably will change careers several times. I believe that everyone should learn how to leverage themselves and the best way I know is to have a home based business in addition to your every day career.I'm not done yet as I am in the process of writing another book as a follow up to this book that will teach additional sales skills for those who want to improve their knowledge or learn how to become a sales professional.I have been told that this book should be read by all college and University students as it will help prepare them for the real world " The School Of Hard Knocks:
