Why This Book?

Because I've lived most of Christian life in a state of spiritual poverty. And the saddest part was that before, I never understood why I was so straitened and tormented. The reason for my spiritual poverty was simple--my worldview ( the way I thought about life) was constantly lying to me -- telling me I was unworthy of God's love. This lie became my identity and poisoned my life.

Then one incredible day, the Lord revealed to me that I wasn't worthless--just the opposite. I had great value to Him because I was created in His image and after His likeness. His revelation light exposed all of the false teachings that had trained me to think so destructively. And in that exposure light, I had to confess that i had been thoroughly deceived. I thought I knew so much about the Lord, but in truth, I didn't know anything at all.

Knowing that I'm not the only Christian who struggles over identity, I implored the Lord to send teachers to His people to declare that He has not changed His mind in that is He is still pursuing image and likeness in our lives. In response to those prayers, I received this book.

Everything the Lord has taught me since the day He set me free, is written down here to help you pursue His eternal purpose for your life. And i am thoroughly convinced that what God has done for me--He'll do for you.
